IMPORTANT DATES:


September 16: Arrival to Yalta (Crimea), registration;  Welcome party (19.30);

September 17: Morning: Registration; Opening (10.00);

September 23, Morning: Closing of the Conference (11.00),  departure (the bus to Simferopol will leave around 11.30)

N.B. Of course, everybody is free to arrive (leave) earlier or later, according to one's convenience.

TRANSPORTATION:

        Yalta  (Simferopol) can be reached by air, train, car or sea. The nearest airport and railway station are in Simferopol, the capital of the Crimea,
100 km away from Yalta. On Saturdays there is a direct (seasonal) flight from Frankfurt to Simferopol. Otherwise, transit via Kiev, Moscow, Odessa, St.Petersburg, Istanbul, Chisenau, Tel-Aviv can be recommended.
       There are several daily flights from Kiev to Simfferopol. The price of a one-way ticket is about 90 EURO (no round-trip reduction). Also, there are several overnight trains, e.g. #12 (from Kiev at 17.51, return to Kiev at 5.44), and #40 (from Kiev at 12.47, returns to Kiev at 7.08). The price of a one-way ticket in a sleeping car varies from  20 to 40 EURO
       On Sept. 16 (arrival) and Sept. 23 (departure) transportation from Simferopol to the Conference site (and back) will be provided by the Organizing Committee  Otherwise, local transportation by mini-buses or trolley-buses is cheap and efficient. Taxi is comfotable but  not  economic.
        Those who will miss the bus (or car) of the Organization Committee in Simferepol, can  easily reach  the conferecne as follows: take a trolleybus or mini-bus to Yalta,  bus station (about 2 dollars), then continue with another local  minibus ( #27), direction Miskhor, decending right at the Conference site: "Parus" (near the "Swallow's Nest" ("Lastochkino Gnezdo").
